You get one permanent link in the footer of the template I am going to create or in the existing theme.

Why do I know that theme footer will not be changed?

Simply, because I will encode them.

How can you change the footer links after it is being released?

I wrote a script which helps me do that. And because people cannot change footer (I encode it) I can be very confident that you get your footer links there.
